Rangers Sink St. Paul

It’s only Game #2 but the Vegreville Rangers have already given fans a reason to be more optimistic than last year ...

After finishing last year’s campaign with only a pair of wins, the Rangers improved to 1-and-1 this season after a 5-4 win in overtime against the Canadiens in St. Paul on Friday.

Vegreville’s Nathan Gottselig was the extra-time hero, completing a hat-trick with the game winning goal.

The Rangers are right back to work on Saturday when they welcome the Cold Lake Ice to the Vegreville Rec. Center Arena at 8:00 PM.

Those unable to catch the contest in person can tune in to Country 106.5 for the live call starting at 7:55 PM.
