The Leduc Milleteers have informed the Powerline Baseball League that they will not be fielding a team this coming season, that according to the P.B.L. on Twitter ...

According the P.B.L.’s website, Leduc has cited player recruitment concerns as the reason behind the hiatus.

The Milleteers entered the Powerline Baseball League in 2008 and, following a dynasty of five consecutive P.B.L. Championships from 2009 to 2013, have struggled as of late, finishing last season with a 4-and-11 record – including forfeiting their final two contests of the season.

With Leduc stepping away and barring any further changes, the P.B.L will be a seven team league featuring the Armena Royals, Camrose Axemen, Camrose Roadrunners, Edmonton Expos, Holden Blue Jays, Rosalind Athletics and Tofield Braves for the 2020 season.
