Spray Park Officially Re-Opened

Earlier this week, Vegreville Town Council elected to re-open the park with virus mitigation measures in place.

The Town of Vegreville’s Director of Community Services Phil Rowe joined Country 106 on Thursday afternoon to talk about what users can expect.

He notes that the town is asking parents and guardians of young children to exercise caution when using the spray park.

Rowe says among other changes, there will be will be a lifeguard on site during the park’s hours of operation asking users to sign-in to ensure an easy line of communication should there a be virus outbreak.

No outside toys or equipment will be permitted at the Spray Park while users are asked to keep at least a 2-meter distance from others to ensure proper physical distancing measures.

The Lions Spray Park will be open between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM every day.
