Despite restrictions on mass gatherings, the Rotary Club of Vegreville has found a way to bring lobster to the table ...
Club President Ashley Browning says after being forced to cancel their annual ‘Lobsterfest’, an event that typically draws about 400 people, the Rotary Club pivoted and will now offer ‘Father’s Day Lobster’.
Browning says much like Lobsterfest, the offerings will be flown in fresh from Atlantic Canada.
The cost per lobster is $35 each and is sure to be the center piece in whatever else households have planned for dad’s meal during the Father’s Day weekend.
It will be sold already prepped and cooked by the Rotary Club and can be picked up at the Vegreville Social Center on Saturday June 20th or dropped off via free curb side delivery within Vegreville.
Browning says those interested must pre-order by June 8th and can do so by contacting any member of the Rotary Club of Vegreville.
