Tips from the public has led to the recovery of stolen property ...
On October 10th Killam RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Forestburg after receiving information from the public about theft of copper wire in the area.
As a safety precaution, Forestburg School was placed on a hold and secure for a short period of time while the search warrant was executed.
Two adults were arrested without incident.
27-year-old Meggan Cole of Forestburg was released from custody on her own recognizance for court in Killam on November 5th.
She is charged with Possession of stolen property over $5000, Possession of weapon obtained by crime and more.
Meantime, 31-year-old Gordon Sinclair of no fixed address was also released from custody on his own recognizance for court, also in Killam on November 5th.
He is charged with Possession of stolen property over $5000, Careless use of a firearm and more.
According to RCMP, items recovered include copper wire, copper, golf bags, a shotgun, a sword, a concrete saw and a generator as well as numerous other tools.
