Lakeland College has received some international fanfare ...

For the second time in three years, Lakeland College has been named 'College of the Year' by the National Kitchen and Bath Association for its Interior Design Technology program.

Program Instructor Rochelle Horne explains how Lakeland College won the award.

Lakeland College also won the award in 2017 but Horne says that didn't stifle the school's excitement.

Meantime, Horne says Lakeland College Students Emily Hartley of Regina and Shaelynn Brisbourne of Lloydminster also earned some hardware complete with a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2020.

Lakeland's National Kitchen and Bath Association program was also one of five programs across North American recognized with a 2019 Excellence in Education Award.
