Beaver County's 'Active' COVID-19 Case Count Increases

Alberta registered 39 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday ...

The ‘active’ number of cases in the province remained static at 520 with Sunday’s gain offset by the same number of confirmed recoveries.

Confirmed cases around the region continue to climb slightly with Beaver County now reporting two active cases, up one from Saturday.

There are now four ‘active’ cases in Sherwood Park and two cases in Strathcona County – excluding Sherwood Park.

Meantime, the County of Minburn – including Vegreville, the County of Vermilion River, the County of St. Paul and the County of Two Hills as well as Lamont County all continue to report zero ‘active’ cases.

There are 43 Albertans currently in hospital due to COVID-19 with eight of those in ICUs.

To date, 7,322 of the total 7,996 confirmed cases in the province have been deemed ‘recovered’.
