12 Head of Cattle were on offer at the Vilna Arena on Friday for the Bellis 4-H Beef Club’s Annual Show and Sale.
Ethen Senetza’s 1334 lbs steer earned him the Reserve Champion honors while Ellena Senetza steer was named the Grand Champion.

Senetza says raising a Grand Champion steer wasn’t always easy.
Ellena Senetza’s steer sold to Anchor F Farms for $2.80 per pound while Ethen’s reserve champion steer went to Mel Farms, also for $2.80.
The sale’s average price per pound was $2.77 cents.
18 Head of Cattle were on offer at the Two Hills 4-H Beef Club and Myrnam 4-H Beef and Multi-Club’s Show and Sale at the Myrnam Arena on Monday, June 3rd.
The Grand Champion honors went to Harlen Saskiw, who’s 1395lb steer sold to Insight Wealth Investments for $3.00/lbs.
Meantime, Brodie Pashulka’s 1450lb Reserve Champion Steer sold to Northern Livestock for $2.80/lbs.
Seth Trynchuck of the Myrnam Beef Club was also a big winner at Monday’s show and sale, taking home the Logozar Memorial Scholarship.
Trynchuck says it’s an honor to win the prestigious award.

The Logozar Memorial Scholarship was established by the Two Hills District 4-H Club to honor the legacy of longtime members Isaac and Cassandra Logozar who were tragically killed in a car accident on December 24th, 2010.
The Innisfree-Minburn Beef Club was featured on the 2019 Country 106 4-H Coverage Tour on Wednesday, May 29th.
‘Grand Champion’ honors went to Tyson Rudolph at his 1492lb steer which sold to Rocky Mountain Equipment for $2.80/lbs.
Meantime, it was the steer belonging to Camille Kassian that earned the ‘Reserve Champion’ title.
Kassian’s 1437lb steer sold to North Central Livestock for $2.60/lbs.
Miles Wowk, as always, was a phenomenal auctioneer for the sale with an average sale price of $2.83 while ever the 4-H supporters, not only did Webb’s Machinery provide the lunch at the event but also purchased Coutney Cannan’s calf for $3.00/lbs.

Hannah Albrecht’s 1302lb steer was named ‘Grand Champion’ at the event and sold to Vantage Builders in Vegreville for $2.70/lbs.

Over forty head of cattle were on display at the Holden Ag Complex for the Beaver District 4-H Show and Sale, a compilation that featured members from the Holden, Viking and Tofield Beef and Multi Club.
The Show’s Reserve Champion honors went to Tofield’s Carter Wood.
