The World Professional Chuckwagon Association has deemed their Qualification Run Off 'not necessary' and in turn has cancelled the event.
The World Professional Chuckwagon Association is in Rocky Mountain House this weekend but one of the major story lines heading into the stop is the cancellation of an event.
The WPCA has cancelled their Qualification Run Off as it was deemed not necessary.
Director of Marketing Bryan Hebson says with a lack of outfits vying to join the association next year, all 36 wagons currently competing this year will automatically qualify for the 2017 Pro Tour.
He says it’s a sign of the times.
