Wheaties Steal Home Ice

The Killam Wheat Kings have stolen home-ice advantage in their Second Round N.E.A.J.H.L. Playoff Series ...

Jackson Angelstad registered a hat-trick while Clay Lang scored a single and added a pair of assists for Killam in a 7-3 win over the Lac La Biche Clippers on Sunday, tying the Best-of-Seven Series at One Game apiece.

Matthew Gaume made 45 Saves in the Wheaties’ win.

Killam will now host Games Three and Four on Wednesday and Friday.

Meantime, the St. Paul Canadiens are hoping home-cooking will help get them back in their series with the Wainwright Bisons.

Wainwright hammered the Canadiens 9-2 on Saturday, taking a two games-to-none series lead in the process.

Games Three and Four will shift to St. Paul, also on Wednesday and Friday.
