The race for the Vegreville Men's Curling League 'A Event' Crown got a little tighter on Tuesday ...

Week Three of the Vegreville Men’s Curling League Playoffs is in the books.

In the ‘A Event’, Team Welin suffered their first loss of the post-season on falling to Team Urichuk and dropping to a 2-and-1 record.

Meantime, Team Urichuk improves to 1-and-2.

Other ‘A Event’ action saw Dmytriw get by Dobush to improve to 1-and-1 while Dobush falls to 0-and-2.

Team Brooks, which sits at 1-and-1, had the week off.

In the ‘B Event’, Team Trabysh beat Team Litun to improve their record to 2-and-0 while Team Gegolick now sits at 1-and-0 after beating Team Bilyk.

Gegolick was coming off back-to-back bye-weeks.

And finally, in the ‘C Event’, Weder bounced McRae for their 3rd straight post-season victory while McCarty demolished Porozni to improve to 1-and-1.

The Vegreville Men’s Curling League Playoffs will continue until March 19th.
