Einarson, Sweeting and company opened the Tour Challenge in Pictou County, Nova Scotia with a 7-5 victory over the reigning Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion Chelsea Carey of Calgary on Wednesday.
Team Einarson will try to keep it going on Thursday when they take on Team Fleury of East St. Paul, Manitoba.
The Tour Challenge features 62 teams, making it the largest event in the Grand Slam of Curling Series.
The teams have been broken up into two separate tiers playing in either the men’s or women’s division while all divisions are split into three separate pools of five for the purpose of round-robin play.
The top eight teams overall will qualify for the playoffs which will get underway on Saturday.
