The Athletics downed the Holden Blue Jays 5-3 in Game 3 of the Best-of-Three Powerline Baseball League Championship Series last night - earning their second consecutive Senior Men’s League Title.
Holden and Rosalind were tied at two early but the A’s would pull away with a pair of runs in the third inning.
Rosalind’s Dan Enright was named the Finals M-V-P, pitching 2 complete games in the championship series, for a total of 14 innings pitched and only 3 earned runs allowed.
The loss for Holden marks the fourth time in the last 7 years the Jays have a managed an appearance in the P.B.L.’s final but have finished shy of Championship.
