The puck is set to drop on a new North Eastern Alberta Junior Hockey League Season at the end of the month and Fall Training Camps are underway, or soon will be, around the league ...

Preparations are underway ahead of a new North Eastern Alberta Junior Hockey League Season.

Here in Vegreville, the Rangers will host their fall camp this coming weekend in the hopes of building on a solid core of returning players.

Rangers Bench Boss Bryan Brown talks about the upcoming camp to be held at the Vegreville Rec Center Arena.

He says the camp is open to all ‘Junior’ eligible players and adds he’s expecting a solid crop of hockey hopefuls from out-of-town programs to attend as well.

The N.E.A.J.H.L.’s Regular Season will get underway on Friday, September 29th and the Rangers are scheduled to welcome regional rival Vermilion to town to open the new year.
