Rangers on the Road, Longhorns Welcome Rock

The Vegreville Rangers aim to keep the momentum from Wednesday's win going when they travel to Lloydminster tonight while the Two Hills Longhorns look to bust out of a log jam in the SaskAlta standings ...

The Vegreville Rangers hit the road in the N.E.A.J.H.L. tonight as they travel to Lloydminster to battle the Bandits.

Rangers Head Coach Bryan Brown says he needs to see the same level of commitment his players showed in Wednesday’s win over Killam.

The Rangers, who trail the Vermilion Tigers and the league’s last playoff spot by three points with 9 games remaining, will be looking to enact a measure of revenge after suffering a 6-1 loss to the Bandits on Sunday.

The Tigers, also with nine game remaining, have tough test tonight as they'll welcome the league leading Wainwright Bisons.

Meantime, the Two Hills Longhorns welcome the Vermilion Rock to town tonight in the SaskAlta Hockey League.

Through 14 games the Longhorns are in a 3-way tie for 4th in the SaskAlta standings with a 9-3-1-1 record.

The Rock are 6-7-0-1 on the year.

Puck drop at the Two Hills is set for 8:00pm.
