Rangers Make First Ever Trip to Lac La Biche

The Northeastern Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Newest Franchise is off to a Solid Start to the Season ...

The Clippers improved to 2-0 after downing the Vegreville Rangers 6-5 in Double Overtime in Lac La Biche on Sunday.

The Rangers trailed the contest 3-0 midway through the 2nd period point but Jared Steinbach and Alexander Kits would each scored a pair while Nathan Gottselig also tallied to ensure Vegreville secured at least a point.

Rangers Captain Dylan McGee has registered 6 points from the Blueline through 2 games but credits his forwards for putting the biscuit in the basket.

McGee says he likes what he sees from his team, who sit at 1-0-0-1 after the season opening weekend.

The Rangers next head to St. Paul on Friday for their first tilt with the Canadiens.
