The Vegreville Rangers will have their hands full tonight in the Northeastern Alberta Junior Hockey League.

The Rangers head to Lac La Biche to take on the Clippers who are tied with the Wainwright Bisons for tops in the league with an 18-2-0 record.

Meantime, the younger Rangers roster has suffered its fair share of growing pains this season, sitting with one win in 21 tries.

Vegreville returns to home ice on Saturday, January 19th when they’ll welcome the Lloydminster Bandits.

Meantime, in the SaskAlta Hockey League, the Two Hills Longhorns will drop the puck on a three-game home stand tonight when the Vermilion Rock come to town.

The Longhorns are 9-5-0 on the season and have won back-to-back contests while the Rock are 2-and-11 on the season.

Puck drop tonight in Two Hills is set for 8:00pm.
