The Vegreville Rangers will have a new bench boss for the 2016-2017 season.

James Couch, who was brought in as an assistant under interim coach Scott Langkow near the end of last season, has been named Head Coach of the Team.

He talks about his coaching philosophy.

He says he and team officials are already hard at work recruiting to replace graduating players like Derek Miller, Zach Lang and Grayson Soprovich.

The Rangers finished last season with an 18 and 18 regular season record before falling in the 1st round of the playoffs to St. Paul.
