Playoff Baseball Around the Region

The Playoffs are in full swing in both the Battle River and Powerline Baseball Leagues.

It's do or die for the Ryley Rebels in the Powerline Baseball League's Semi Finals tonight. 

The Rebels trail the Rosalind Athletics in the best of 3 affair one game to none after a 6-4 set back on Thursday. Ryley finished tops in the P.B.L.'s regular season with a 10-4 Record while Rosalind finished in a 3-way tie for second at 9-5.

Elsewhere tonight the Aremena Royals try to wrap up their series with the Beaumont Angels. The Royals won Game One 4-0. 

The Battle River Baseball League's Finals are underway. 

The Provost Padres lead the Heisler Cardinals one game to none in the Championship Series after a Game #1, 5-1 Win. The Padres, who finished the regular season with a 12 and 2 record, downed the Killam Braves in the Semis. Game 2 goes tonight in Heisler.
