P.B.L.'s 2018 Season Officially Underway

Opening Day in the Powerline Baseball League is in the books ...

Four games were held on Saturday as the P.B.L. opened their 2018 Regular Season - one of which saw the Edmonton Expos send a statement in their first ever game in the Senior Men's Baseball League with a 7-rip win over the Holden Blue Jays.

Holden will try to bounce back tomorrow night when they welcome the Camrose Road Runners for their home-opener.

Elsewhere over the weekend, Craig Neufeld ended it with a walk-off as the Tofield Braves got past the Camrose Axemen 11-10.

Meantime, last year's League Champs didn't appear to be suffering from a hangover, as the Rosalind Athletics hammered the Sherwood Park Athletics 11-4.
