Next Stop Bruderheim for A.P.C.C.A.

Heart-Pounding Alberta Professional Chuckwagon and Chariot Association action highlights Heartland Ag Days in Bruderheim this weekend ...

A.P.C.C.A. Chucks and Chariots get rolling tonight in Bruderheim for Heartland Ag Days.

Lloydminster’s Mike Cook comes into the second-to-last Alberta Professional Chuckwagon and Chariot Association Show of the season leading in the Wagons’ Overall Standings with a 987 while Marty Maxwell of Camrose is in Chariots’ top spot with a 1083.

Meantime Vegreville’s Dwayne Dubuc admits he’s looking to bounce back after a disappointing finish at Vegreville Country Fair.

Dubuc sits 7th in the Wagon's Overall and 5th in the Chariots heading into Bruderheim.

Meantime, Dubuc does say he's keeping an eye on another local outfit - this one belonging to Shane Cartier.

Cartier, who despite finishing with a 3rd place Wagons finish at the Vegreville Country Fair and 4th Place Spot in the Overall Standings, is still looking for first 'Show Championship Win' of the Season but Dubuc feels like that's not far off.

The Chariots kick things off at Heartland Ag Days this afternoon at 5:30 with the Wagons following at 7:00 – and, if you can’t make it down, we’ll bring you the live call of those with a pre-race show at 6:55pm.
