N.E.A.J.H.L. President Talks Saddle Lake Suspension

The Northeastern Alberta Junior Hockey League has officially suspended the Saddle Lake Warriors for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season ...

President of the N.E.A.J.H.L. Mark Hines explains what lead to the suspension.

Hines says, to ensure the fairest possible scenario for the league’s remaining 10 teams, the N.E.A.J.H.L. will scrub any games involving the Warriors from this season’s standings and player statistics.

Hines says he hopes to see the Warriors, who had gone oh-and-28 prior to the suspension, re-join the league next season.

The league is still in the process of adjusting the standings and stats but when the look new standings are released, the Vegreville Rangers, who had be scheduled to play their 3rd game of the season versus the Warriors on Wednesday, will have two less W's in the 'Win Column'.
