The Two Hills Longhorns had a productive weekend in the SaskAlta Hockey League.

The 'Horns went 2-for-2, outscoring the opposition 18-6 in wins over the Paradise Valley Jets and the Paradise Hills Hawks on Friday and Saturday.

With the wins, Two Hills improves to 7-and-3 on the season - good for 3rd in the Senior Men's Hockey League.

The 'Horns get this coming weekend off.

Meantime, the Vegreville Rangers had a tough time shaking off the rust after a long lay-off in the North Eastern Alberta Junior Hockey League this weekend.

The Rangers returned to action on Saturday, suffering an 8-3 road loss to the Frog Lake T-Birds and were then dealt an 11-4 loss by Frog Lake on home ice yesterday in the second half of the home-and-home series.  

It was Vegreville's first game action in nearly three-weeks.
