Maschmeyer & Team Canada Earn Silver at Women's Worlds

Team Canada falls to Team U-S-A despite Bruderheim's Emerance Maschmeyer's phenomenal performance in net.

Bruderheim's Emerance Maschmeyer turned away 34-of-35 shots ... but it wasn't enough as Team U-S-A downed Team Canada 1-0 in OT to win Gold at the IIHF Women's World Championships.

Alex Carpenter was the hero for the United States, scoring 12:30 into overtime.

The Canadians failed to score on six power-play chances, including two in the extra period.

Maschmeyer was named player of the game for Team Canada and top goaltender of the tournament.
