Longhorns Ready for Season Debut

The SaskAlta League has released its schedule ahead a fresh year of Senior Men’s Hockey action ...

The Two Hills Longhorns will open their 2018-19 Season on the road versus the Vermilion Rock on Friday, October 19th.

Longhorns Defenseman Evan Warawa says his team is hopeful they can improve on last year’s 5th place Regular Season finish, especially with a strong list of returning players up front.

Warawa notes the Longhorns will also have former Vegreville Ranger Jared Steinbach in this year's lineup.

Steinbach lead the Rangers in scoring last season with 28 goals and 53 points in 33 games.

Meantime, Warawa says his team will also see the return of their top four D-men this season.

After the Horns’ season opener on the road, fans in Two Hills will have to wait until November 3rd to see their team on home ice when they’ll welcome the Kitscoty Monarchs.
