The Vermilion Tigers, the team the Rangers are chasing for the final playoff spot in the Northeastern Alberta Junior Hockey League, earned a

6-2 win over the Frog Lake T-Birds on Friday.

 

With the win the Tigers jump to 5 points up on the Rangers with seven games remaining in their regular season.

 

The Rangers, who have 8 games remaining, are back to work tonight when they head to Cold Lake to battle the Ice and will return home are back Sunday afternoon when they welcome to St. Paul Canadiens for the ‘Bell - Let’s Talk Game’.

 

Meantime, the Two Hills Longhorns are down one game to none in their best of five first round SaskAlta Hockey League playoff series.

 

The ‘Horns fell 3-2 to the Elk Point Elks in Game one last night.

 

The series shifts to Two Hills Saturday.
