Both the Vegreville Rangers & the Two Hills Longhorns suffered losses last night ...

The Vegreville Rangers were no match for the Wheat Kings in the Northeastern Alberta Junior Hockey League last night, falling 6-2 in Killam.

The win marks the 5th straight for the Wheaties.

The Rangers, who fall to 4-7-and-1 on the season, don’t get much time to dwell on the loss … they’re right back to work tonight when they welcome Frog Lake to town.

Puck drop at the Veg. Rec. Centre Arena is 8:00pm.

Meantime, the Two Hills Longhorns suffered their first loss of the season in the SaskAlta Senior Men’s Hockey League, falling 6-5 in a shootout to the Dewberry Mustangs.

With the loss, the Longhorns drop to 3-0-and-1 on the year.

Two Hills welcomes the Neilburg Monarchs tonight at 8:00pm.
