Lang Named N.E.A.J.H.L. M.V.P.

The North Eastern Alberta Junior Hockey League has unveiled their 2018-19 League Award Winners …

The Defenseman of the Year Award goes to Alex Astasiewicz of the St. Paul Canadiens.

Astasiewicz has 11 goals and 28 points in 27 games this season. 

Top Rookie honors this season go Kailin Becher of the Wainwright Bisons who’s registered 30 goals and 48 points in 28 games in his first season in the N.E.A.J.H.L. 

The Bisons also earned Coach of the Year honors, with Adam Huxley guiding his team to a league leading 25-and-3 record through 28 games from behind the bench. 

Meantime, the N.E.A.J.H.L.’s M.V.P. Award goes to Killam’s Clay Lang. 

He's registered a league leading 43 goals and 67 points in 27 games played this season. 

Lang, who’s in his final year of junior eligibility, has 219 goals and 371 points in 168 Career N.E.A.J.H.L. Regular Season contests, all with Killam.
