L.R.A. Wrap Up from Hairy Hill

Rain and Slop made for an entertaining L.R.A. stop in Hairy Hill over the weekend ...

It was a wet and wild one at the 28th Annual Hairy Hill Rodeo this past weekend.

Here are your weekend winners from the Lakeland Rodeo Association Action at Hairy Hill:

Brent Miller won the Tie Down Ropin’ in 11.1 seconds while Tyler Wilson won the Saddle Bronc with a 73 point ride aboard ‘North of 60’.

A 68 was enough for Jessey Lannin to take the Bareback event – he did so on a Sawchuck Horse named ‘Scooter’.

In Steer Wrestlin’, Land Beardsworth took top spot with a 3 point 7.

In Ladies Barrels it was Shannon Blakely with a time of 15 point 3-1-8.

Wayne and Luke Skodopole took Team Roping with a time of 5.8 seconds and the Bull Riding went to Bradley Ingersoll who picked up an 82 and a half on a Tratch bull named ‘Double Trouble’.

Hairy Hill Rodeo President Rick Ruptash says despite the weather, everything went off without a hitch.

The L.R.A. is in Boyle and Hardisty this week.
