Jays Game Originally Scheduled for Vegreville to be Played in Holden ... Maybe

The Powerline Baseball League has four games on the docket tonight, weather depending ...

One of those contests was to be played in Vegreville between the Holden Blue Jays and the Sherwood Park Athletics but according to the Jays' Twitter account the game will now be played in Holden due to a diamond availability issue in Vegreville.

Should Mother Nature cooperate and tonight's games go ahead, the Jays will be looking to build off an 11-1 win over the Camrose Roadrunners on Thursday and improve their record to 5-and-3 on the season.

The Athletics meantime are still looking for their first win of the year. They sit at oh-and-7.

Elsewhere in the Senior Men's League on Tuesday, the Tofield Braves hope to halt a 3-game winless skid when they host the Edmonton Expos.

The Leduc Milleteers welcome the Camrose Axemen and the Rosalind Athletics host the white-hot Armena Royals who lead the P.B.L. with a 7-and-oh record.
