Holden Blue Jays Set to Swing the Sticks

A new Power Line Baseball League Season is officially in full swing this weekend.

The Holden Blue Jays get their Power Line Baseball League Season underway this weekend.

Holden’s Manager and Player Stephen Hrabec encourages fans to come out to the Holden Field to cheer them on, adding the quality of ball may just surprise spectators.

Hrabec says while the season has yet to get underway, the Jays have already been dealt a few blows to their roster.

Hrabec says a good chuck of the Jays’ offense comes off the bat of a former Vegreville Ranger.

The Holden Blue Jays finished with a 6 and 8 record last season and Hrabec doesn’t see why they can’t improve on that this year.

Lefty Kyle Muzechka  will be on the bump for the Jays’ season opener on Saturday against the Beaumont Angels. Game time from the Holden Field is 6 p-m.
