Daysland's Stefanishion a Key Cog in Bentley's quest for yet another Senior Men's National Championship

Matt Stefanishion continues to rack up the points for the Bentley Generals at the Allan Cup.

A 32 year old forward from Daysland has propelled the Bentley Generals into the Allan Cup semi-finals.

Matt Stefanishion cored twice - including the winning goal with less than two minutes to play in the third period - during Wednesday's 4-3 triumph over the Iles des Chenes North Stars.

On Tuesday, Stefanishion had a hat trick as Bentley thumped Stony Creek 8-2.

The Generals have the day off today thanks to their 2 and oh record during round robin play at the national senior men's triple 'A' hockey championships in Steinbach, Manitoba.

The semis will be played Friday.

The Allan Cup champion for 2016 will be crowned this Saturday.
