Curling on the Cranium for Local Two Hills Teacher

He's a teacher, a coach and he's hoping to represent Alberta at the 2016 Tim Horton's Brier.

It’s safe to say that Kendall Warawa has Curling on the Cranium.

Warawa is the Junior/Senior High Science Teacher at Two Hills School and coach of the school’s Boys, Girls and Mixed Curling Teams who are getting set for this weekend’s Saint Paul Athletics Association’s Senior High Curling Championships at the Saint Paul Curling Club.

Warawa says his Two Hills teams have managed to find success despite unfortunate circumstances.

He say based on this weekend’s results, the next step will be zones before a crack a provincials in early March.

Now, Warawa isn’t just a coach when it comes to curling - he’s also the lead for Team Sallows on World Curling Tour and is set to take part in the Boston Pizza Cup in Camrose starting February 10th.

If you’re a business owner and you’d like to sponsor Team Sallows on the Provincial Stage – you can contact Kendall via email at kendall_warawa@sperd.ca.
