Willingdon Residents Vote for Dissolution

The Village of Willingdon will come under the umbrella of the County of Two Hills, likely this summer, now that residents have decided the village is no longer viable

Residents of Willingdon have decided to dissolve the village, and be governed under the authority of the County of Two Hills. The town-wide vote took place Thursday, after roughly two years of study into the viability of the village.

Mayor of Willingdon, Ron Rudkowsky, explains the next step in the process of dissolution.

Rudkowsky notes, once dissolved, all assets and liabilities will be transferred to the County of Two Hills.
