When it rains it pours for the Town of Vegreville’s Public Works Department … or should we say, when it snows it floods ...
While in the midst of planning and executing snow removal after this weekend’s dumping, the Town of Vegreville’s Public Works Crews were called out to deal with a broken hydrant.
Infrastructure, Planning and Development Director for the Town of Vegreville Dale Lefebvre explains.
It’s the second hydrant related water issue for the Town of Vegreville in under a week.
Should everything go according to plan, Lefebvre says those same crews will then forge ahead with the 50th Street snow removal overnight tonight.
Lefebvre asks store owners and residents to please refrain from parking along 50th Street from Elks Hall to 45th Avenue between the hours of midnight tonight and 5:30 tomorrow morning to help ease the snow removal process.
