Vegreville Mounties Seeking Robbery Suspect

Vegreville Mounties are requesting the public's assistance in locating a Lloydminster man accused of robbing a local inn

On March 24,  Vegreville Mounties were dispatched to a fight between two men in the parking lot located at the intersection of 50th Avenue and 60th Street. 

A Caucasian man got into an S.U.V. and quickly drove away from the scene, with the second man remaining in the parking lot.

The investigation revealed that the man had stolen about $900 from the Wild Rose Inn. The fight was with the hotel clerk, who was attempting to stop the suspect from getting away. 

The suspect has been identified as 33 year old Dwayne Shane Soroka of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He is known to drive a green 2001 Kia Sportage, with Saskatchewan license plate 938 HTH. 

He is described as being  6' 2", and 250 lbs., with brown hair and grey eyes. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact their local RCMP detachment or CrimeStoppers.
