The Vegreville Family Clinic already has policies in place that state abuse of any kind will not be tolerated, and it's now clearly including anything posted online about physicians and staff
The Vegreville Family Clinic is taking measures to curb online abuse towards it's physicians. Behavior deemed unacceptable in person or online could have that person either warned or banned from the clinic.
Clinic Manager Tami Potschka says it takes their current policy one step further.
Potschka adds that even with 10 walk in clinics a week, the Emergency Room still gets abused.
The policy comes after several comments were posted on local "Rant and Rave" Facebook pages, making negative, and at times, it's alleged, racist remarks about local doctors.
