Traffic Stop in Lloydminster Yields Gun, Money and $20,000 in Meth

A traffic Stop in Lloydminster has yielded a gun, money and approximately $20,000 in Methamphetamine

In the early morning hours of Dec.4, a member of the Lloydminster General Investigation Support Team conducted a traffic stop and as a result, the officer seized a loaded handgun, over 230 grams of Methamphetamine, approximately 18 grams of Cocaine, and over $1200.00.

49-year-old Rhonda Campbell,  from Wainwright, has been charged with: possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, five firearms related offenses, and two breach charges.

28-year-old Nathanael Habte, from Vermilion, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, five firearms related offenses, and five breach charges.

Campbell and Habte appeared before a Justice of the Peace and were remanded into custody and appeared in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Tuesday.
