The Town of Vegreville is happy with the progress made on the work to 50th Street this season, with the majority of work wrapping up just before the snow fell
It came down to the wire, but the Town of Vegreville managed to open up 50th Street just before the snow fell.
Infrastructure, Planning and Development Director for the Town of Vegreville, Dale Lefebvre, says the construction is complete for this season on the Town's 2018 Capital Works Project.
Lefebvre adds that there is some landscaping work to do as well in the spring. The 50th Street Project, which got underway in mid-July, is to replace the aging, and failing, sanitary main line system that's likely been in place since the late 1950's.
