Town Responds to Greyhound Bus Service Loss

With the announcement that Greyhound Canada will be cancelling the majority of it's Western Canada routes, towns across the country are figuring out how the loss will impact them

Greyhound Canada has announced that as of October 31, it will be cutting almost all routes in Western Canada, and Vegreville is processing the news.

Mayor Tim MacPhee says while the impact on Vegreville won't be as great as in remote rural communities, it will still negatively impact the town.

Routes in Quebec, Southern Ontario, and one route from Seattle to Vancouver will remain unaffected.
