The Town of Vegreville now has a plan in place to deal with snow removal, after last months sudden storm left much confusion and frustration among residents
Last month's sudden snow storm and the resulting confusion and anger regarding snow removal in the Town of Vegreville has hopefully been avoided in future situations, as town council passed a snow removal and sanding policy.
Infrastructure, Planning and Development Director, Dale Lefebvre, says that council approved the policy at their last council meeting.
Lefebvre adds they now have a trigger mechanism for special situations.
Lefebvre adds that for general conditions, an accumulation of four inches will trigger snow removal operations, Monday to Friday.
