The Recycle Roundup Is On

The Town of Vegreville's Annual Household Hazardous Waste Round Up goes tomorrow

The Town of Vegreville's Annual Household Hazardous Waste Round Up goes tomorrow.

It's an undertaking organized by Vegreville's Solid Waste Solutions Committee.

Committee Member and Town Councilor Taneen Rudyk says the Household Hazardous Waste Round Up is an opportunity to rid yourself of items that may be collecting space and dust around the home but, at the same time, shouldn't end up in at the landfill.

Items that will be accepted free of charge include spray paint cans, paint and empty paint cans, used oil, oil filters, empty oil containers, TVs, computers and tires.

Household Hazardous Waste Round Up goes Saturday from 11 AM - 3 PM at the Central Recycling Drop-off Center, located behind Dairy Queen, at 4822 - 51st Avenue.
