St. Paul RCMP have charged three people after an arson investigation
St. Paul RCMP have charged three people after an arson investigation.
On June 7 2019, St. Paul RCMP were dispatched to a structure fire in St Paul. The vacant residence was fully engulfed with fire when members arrived. Members observed and followed a blood trail leaving the house to a neighbouring garage.
24 year old William Whiskeyjack, along with 38 year old Ryan Cardinal, both from of Saddle Lake, and 30 year old Mitchell Soosay of St. Paul, were all charged with break and enter to commit arson.
William Whiskeyjack was remanded in custody and is set to appear in court today.
Ryan Cardinal and Mitchell Soosay were released by the Justice of the Peace and are to appear before the court on July 4, 2019 in St. Paul.
The quick response of emergency services meant the fire was quickly contained and did not spread to other structures.
