St. Paul Mounties Investigating Deadly Halloween Crash

St. Paul RCMP are investigating a fatal two vehicle collision

A northern Alberta First Nation is trying to come to grips with a horrific Halloween night crash that killed two adults and injured 14 others, including several children.

The vans collided on their way home to the Saddle Lake Cree Nation from trick-or-treating in  St. Paul.

Corporal Ron Bumbry says one of the vans was carrying six people and the other had 10.

Bumbry says a 42-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene. The others were taken to area hospitals with serious, non life-threatening injuries.
