"Screenagers" Shows What It's Like Growing Up in the Digital Age

The Battle River School Division and the Viking/Beaver F.C.S.S. are coming together to screen a film that's all about growing up in the digital age

The Battle River School Division and the Viking/Beaver F.C.S.S. are coming together to screen a film that's all about growing up in the digital age.

"Screenagers" reveals how tech-time impacts children's development, as well as depicting teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction.

Mental Health Capacity Building Coordinator for Battle River School Division, Andrea Dyck, says it can be tricky for families to know how to empower students to navigate the digital world, and find a balance.

The free screening will go tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the Viking Alliance Church, and will include a light meal. Everyone is welcome to attend.
