RCMP are reminding all would-be ghost, ghouls and goblins to play it safe during their trick or treating festivities tonight
RCMP are reminding motorists to slow it down this evening and to keep an eye out for eager trick-or-treaters.
School Resource Officer with the Vegreville RCMP Constable Jaison Gagnon says Halloween can often distract youngsters from the common rules of the road.
He says the best way to stay aware of suddenly crossing trick or treaters is to slow down, especially so through residential areas.
He also notes that ideally any quests for candy have concluded by about 9 p.m.
Gagnon reminds trick-or-treaters to travel in no less than groups of three and to ensure they're visible to motorists, either by carrying a flashlight or by placing reflective tape on costumes.
