RCMP Focus on Seatbelts in March

The RCMP have a special focus on seat belts, child seats, and booster seats this month, as they and Alberta Transportation focus on occupant restraints

Alberta Transportation and the RCMP are focusing on occupant restraints for both adults and children for the month of March.

Constable Curtis Harsulla with the Vegreville RCMP says failing to buckle up will cost you.

He adds that the driver of a vehicle could be charged $155 for each person in the vehicle under the age of 16 not properly secured with a seat belt or a child safety seat.
