Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's comments during a town hall meeting in Edmonton earlier this month has drawn criticism and anger among veterans nation-wide
The backlash is continuing against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's response to an injured veteran who asked a question about pensions during an Edmonton Town Hall Meeting earlier this month.
Trudeau's response to the question of why the feds are fighting veterans groups in courts of "they are asking for more than we are able to give right now" has sparked nation wide and local outrage, to the point a demonstration is planned by veterans on Parliament Hill on Thursday, as well as in Vegreville.
Cam Pomeroy served in the Canadian Forces for over 20 years, and is calling on all veterans to join the protest.
Vegreville's protest will go at 10 a.m. at the Cenotaph.
