A petition is making the rounds in Alberta to force a plebiscite on the Farm Safety Legislation and proposed Carbon Tax
The provincial N.D.P. Government is facing opposition on their Farm Safety legislation and proposed Carbon Tax.
George Clark is spearheading a petition to get the government to force a plebiscite on both, which he claims don't have the support of Albertan's.
He was in Vegreville yesterday as part of a 50 town and city tour to meet with canvassers of the petition. He says that his petition will hold the government accountable, and plans to bring the petition to Lois Mitchell, Alberta's Lieutenant Governor.
Clark says that if unsuccessful in forcing a plebiscite through the Lieutenant Governor, he plans to send the petition to the Queen.
