According to the Town of Vegreville, crews should begin snow removal on Saturday afternoon, that is, if the snow has ceased.
Via text message to Country 106, the Town of Vegreville’s Communications Coordinator Rachel Farr indicated that the first priority would be to clear access to the snow haul sites and then, if time permits, to start on the routes that can be graded to one side
On Sunday, February 3rd and Monday, February 4th, again weather permitting, crews will be out working on the priority snow removal routes.

As of Saturday morning, Environment Canada’s ‘Snowfall Warning’ remained in effect for the region with another 5cm expected throughout the day.
